About Leah
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This interest led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I developed strong analytical and theoretical foundations. Over the past 11 years, I have worked with students of varying abilities, helping them transform uncertainty into clarity through patient and structured instruction.
I believe effective mathematics teaching requires empathy and adaptability. I take time to understand how each learner thinks and tailor explanations to suit their pace and style. I encourage questions and independent thinking, helping students build confidence gradually rather than through pressure.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with mathematics through research reading, problem-solving, and continuous learning. These practices strengthen my teaching and keep my lessons relevant.
