About Finn
I am Finn Woodlock. I'm the top ranking student in my applied physics course in DCU. I have experience working as a tutor for first year physics BSc students through DCU, as well as teaching basic aeronautics to TY and 5th year students through a joint coordination between DCU and FIRST Scandinavia.
Maths and physics were always my thing, but I can totally understand why so many people have trouble with them.
Maths is a very different subject to any other in school. State exam focused teaching asks for people to learn off topics or methods. This teaching style is in complete contradiction to maths as a topic. My goal is to provide you with an understanding beyond memorisation.
In regards to physics or applied maths: I have a strong knowledge and understanding of the subjects from my degree. I would love to share these with you in a way that builds an intuition for not just how to solve questions, but why it works as well.
