About Izzy
I'm a friendly, funny, and charismatic tutor who believes that learning works best when it's relaxed, engaging, and even a bit fun. I love building real connections with my students and creating a space where they feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to do their best. I'm naturally patient and down to earth, and I enjoy finding creative ways to explain things, especially when a bit of humour can help it click. Whether we're tackling a tough topic or celebrating a win, I bring positive energy and a genuine passion for helping others grow.

I use a combination of visualisation and hands-on learning to help students engage with the material in a meaningful way. I incorporate educational games to make lessons interactive and enjoyable, and I also use retrieval practice and peer teaching where students reinforce their understanding by explaining concepts back to me as if they were the teacher. Lessons typically last between 60 to 90 minutes depending on the student's needs and focus levels. I have been tutoring students of all ages since 2021 and achieved a grade 8 in GCSE Maths and an A in A Level Maths. My lessons are designed for students aged 10 to 16 of all abilities whether they are looking to catch up, stay on track, or push ahead.
