About Ellis Mari
Privet! I'm a native Russian speaker and professional translator with over 100,000 words of experience, so I don't just know the language intuitively; I know how to explain why it works the way it does.
I know what it's like to learn a language from scratch. I speak French and English professionally, and I'm currently working on my Malay and Japanese, so I understand the frustration, the small victories, and what it takes to actually make progress.
I also have prior tutoring experience, so I know how to adapt my explanations to different learning styles and paces. Whether you need help with grammar, conversation, writing, or just building confidence - I'm here to make Russian feel approachable and even enjoyable.
