About Jamie

I'm originally from the UK, I studied Maths, Further Maths and Economics for A level and I'm now in my second year at Mcgill studying Maths and Computer Science. Honestly, I prefer Maths. I used to teach my brother when he began his A-levels and I really enjoyed it. I'm quite flexible with time especially over the new few months and would love to help out in any way I can.

About the lesson

I try to teach maths empathetically, try and understand your thought process and address your way of thinking with problems that will improve the logic necessary for understanding any given topic. I also like to merge ideas of topics to demonstrate how different areas of maths can work together. I’m hoping to use a platform where we can use a whiteboard and write at the same time for problems and solutions, I’m also more than happy to go through your own problems and solutions.

He was very patient, taking the time to explain any queries I may have had. After his help, my average in that class jumped from 65% to 80%! I would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone struggling with their maths and looking for a tutor.
