About Haseeb
Hello, my name is Haseeb, and I am passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential in Maths and Science. I studied Mechanical Engineering and went on to complete a Master’s in Advanced Manufacturing, which gave me a strong foundation in STEM subjects and their real-world applications. Alongside my studies, I have been actively involved in Formula Student teams, where I worked on engineering design projects and represented my team in international competitions. This experience not only strengthened my technical skills but also showed me the power of teamwork, perseverance, and innovation in STEM fields. I have also delivered inspiring talks in schools, encouraging pupils to see the exciting opportunities that STEM education can open up for them. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades but also to motivate them to enjoy learning and to see where it can take them in the future. With my teaching experience and passion for STEM, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and ready to succeed.

I believe every student has the ability to excel when concepts are explained clearly and taught in a way that suits their individual learning style. My tutoring approach is based on simplifying complex ideas, building strong foundations, and encouraging problem-solving skills so that students gain confidence as well as knowledge. My lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes, with a balance between theory, worked examples, and practice questions. I make sure to identify each student’s strengths and weaknesses early on, and then create a structured plan that helps them progress steadily. I have 4 years of experience teaching Maths, Physics, and Chemistry to secondary school students, both privately and through my work with Portsmouth City Council in local schools. Over this time, I have supported many students in significantly improving their grades and developing a stronger interest in STEM subjects. With a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Advanced Manufacturing, I bring not only subject expertise but also real-world applications into my lessons, which helps students see the relevance of what they are learning. My lessons are ideal for secondary school and O Level students who want to improve their understanding, prepare for exams, or boost their confidence in Maths and Science.
