About Daniel
I moved to the sunshine coast in February and am studying a Bachelor in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Back home I studied and work as a mechnical engineer. Maths and physics were always the highlights of my schooling and I always found it satisfying getting the answer correct. The aim of the lesson/tutor would be to get the students to understand the topics but have an element of fun and understand that satisfaction.
Outside of study I am an active guy who loves to challenge himself. I have played soccer for 16 years, now take up running, adventure sports, skiing, hiking, bouldering and since being on the coast am trying surfing. Sport has been a big aspect of my life and so I know the challenges that come with managing sport and school.

I was taught by a passionate teacher in high school in New Zealand and wish to pass on the passion for these subjects.
My favourite subject was always algebra and this is a difficult subject for a lot of people. I have a logical mind but can alter the viewpoint of my teaching to try and match the student.
I have tutored first year university engineering students and have also had tutors myself.
The focus of tutorial would be for highschool students particularly year 11 and below but can do year 12 as well (being from New Zealand I am not sure of the exact content in year 12 but confident I could cover this after looking over it)
Typical length of tutorial would be whatever works for the student and family. I would aim for an hour but happy to manage this as shorter or longer if neccessary.

Perfect! Daniel has been tutoring my Son for year 11 and now year 12 method maths and physics. I’ve seen my Son’s confidence go up because he is grasping the concepts that Daniel teaches him.
