About Jivan
I am a student at University currently track for a first in a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton.
I worked as a tutor privately and supported students in my previous schools for 7 years now. I am confident in 11+, GCSE and ALevel content, having studied the content thoroughly, receiving a GPA of 9 in my GCSEs and three A*s and my ALevels.
I am currently in my second year of University so the GCSE and ALevel content is still fresh in my mind.

I believe in learning by doing, a method I have been using for my own studies, as well as in my previous tutoring lessons. These lessons ranged in student age from Year 1 to Year 13, especially focussing on 11+, GCSE and Alevels.
First I go over the theory in question, following the subject specification and/or textbooks. I like to use relatable analogies to ensure students can best understand the concepts.
Then I go through questions, first as a worked example, then allowing the students to attempt and correcting where necessary. Finally the students answer questions until they become experts in the topic.
These lessons typically last an hour and additional take away work can be set.
