About Farzin
I'm a first-year medical student in London. Whilst I have become more geared towards science academically, I have a passion for Latin. I understand how daunting it can be for students, as it differs from other modern foreign languages taught in school. I believe with the right approach to teaching and a comfortable environment, a student can really prosper in a short amount of time. With my help, students have seen both their grades and confidence skyrocket in a matter of months. As a school leaver, I understand the pressures that accompany studies from GCSEs and up. I hope I can also act as a mentor for you. I am easy to contact outside of sessions and happy to support you with subject questions and general advice. I have always planned on becoming a tutor and am passionate about helping others reach their goals. I look forward to helping you achieve your grades!

Fully equipped to guide students through challenging syntax, grammatical structures and master vocabulary. We will peruse through translations meticulously, identifying weaker skills and strengthening them. I can expertly deliver in-depth analysis and teaching into various authors. I boast a large breadth of knowledge for many authors studied, such as Virgil, Tacitus and Catullus. Together we will explore key themes, context, and stylistic features. I strive to mould a student's analysis into one with out-of-the-box thinking to ensure the highest marks in exams. During my GCSE studies, I actively helped my peers with revision and prepared resources for them to use. I understand the different ways in which people learn and am adaptable to accommodate these.
