About Aaron
I am a medical doctor who has tutored since before college and after college at the elementary, middle, high school, and college level. I was a Teacher's assistant and supplemental instructor in college, helping with tougher general science classes in Biology and Chemistry and led my own class and sessions with my own questions, tests, and materials. I also privately tutored math and science to middle and high schoolers during college and medical school. After medical school, my first job was as a tutor at an after-school program in Anaheim, in which I was in charge of a classroom of 20 kids in 2nd and 5th grade, respectively. We practiced SEL, ELA, and math and did homework daily. I worked with them for the entire 2022-2023 school year and that was one of my favorite and best experiences I have ever had. For the 2023-2024 school year, I currently work as an aide for special education students at the 1st and 2nd grade level.

I let students help me understand their level of comprehension of the material, and then I ask important and engaging questions to develop their sense of understanding and approach to the information. I like to be actively engaged in each step of learning the material, so I am confident there is a solid base for each rung of the ladder we go up. I am an active listener, easy-going, and fun to work with, as I am confident with working with students from elementary age to high school age.
