About Aakanksha
Educational Background:
I hold a Bachelors in Medical Science with Doctor of Medicine from Monash University, where I graduated with distinction. My academic achievements are a testament to my dedication to learning and my ability to excel in a challenging academic environment. I am well-versed in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths and have a solid foundation in Human Biology, Pathology and Physiology.
Teaching Experience:
I have 3 years of experience as a tutor, working with IGCSE and CBSE students ranging from Grade 6 to Grade 11. I have also volunteered to teach refugee students during my years in medical school. My previous roles have equipped me with effective teaching strategies to tailor my approach to the unique needs of each student. I am adept at identifying learning gaps and developing targeted lesson plans to address them.
Beyond academics, I am deeply passionate about fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. I believe in cultivating not only academic skills but also instilling a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. My goal is to inspire students to approach challenges with curiosity and resilience.

I usually teach through handouts and learning materials that the students are recommended at schools. I also curate some questions relevant to the topic and assist my students to apply the concepts and solve the questions. My lessons mode of delivery would be purely in English. I would deliver classes via online platforms such as Zoom usually between 4-6 pm
A typical session may extend from 1.5 - 2h
