About Nicholas
In my time I've tutored students of all ages in a variety of subjects, ranging from standard Maths and English to Latin. Beyond traditional tutoring I've also worked in schools in China and Kenya, teaching English, Mathematics and Science. With my mother having been a teacher, the importance of education has long been drilled into me, as such I believe I provide great lessons from which students can truly benefit.

Over the years I have worked with students of all ages and abilities around the UK and globally. I believe that tutoring should involve a two-way dialogue, with students having every opportunity to discuss their thoughts and ideas. Beyond simply teaching the relevant material, I hope to increase a student’s confidence in his or her own abilities through the tutoring sessions. Having studied medicine, working closely with people is something I thoroughly enjoy, and believe that I am an amicable and friendly, but academic, tutor who is easy to get along with and work with.
As a student I received Conditional Offers for Medicine from Cambridge University, Imperial College London, Southampton University, and Brighton and Sussex Medical School (all of the schools to which I applied).
I've since helped friends and students with their medical school applications such as through personal statement review and interview preparation.
