About Alexia
As an experienced tutor of over 3 years, I have worked with many different clients, learning how to build confidence as well as practical skills to help students succeed. I received all 4 medical offers as a result of my interview performance from Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol medical school. I am confident in my ability to guide you through the competitive process of medical school interviews, providing you with not only the knowledge but the communication skills to stand out from many other applicants. Medical schools' demands and requirements are constantly changing and adapting; as a student who has recently experienced these interviews in some of the top-rated medical schools in the country, I can provide unique insight and guidance to what is expected of you, and how you can best succeed. Mock interviews and interview guidance for aspiring medical students. I have over 3 years' experience as a private tutor for GCSE and A-level subjects and have recently begun guiding aspiring medical students on how to ace their interviews. Most medical schools now give offers heavily weighted on interview scores; they are one of the most important steps in a medical school application. I received 4/4 interview offers and received all four offers as a result of my interview performance. I aim to build confidence and work with the student to build not only the structure and content of their answers, but their delivery and communication. I recommend a minimum of 2-hour interview prep; we would discuss before the session which medical schools you have applied to so I can tailor my advice based on your chosen options. The session would begin with some guidance on what to expect at each interview. Then we would move into mock interview questions; in a 2-hour session we would conduct a full MMI (or panel dependent on the school applied to) interview session with different stations. I would then feedback and give further advice for each station - repeating any questions that required further improvement, giving a chance to act and develop on this feedback. In a 1-hour session we would conduct some small station and questions prep, not a full MMI but different stations upon request and tailored to the individual. After each station, we would pause and give feedback for development and improvement. I have run several mock interview group MMI stations and mock interview prep, and all students have received a minimum of 1 medicine offer.
