About Edrianne
I failed to get into medicine during A-levels. I failed again during my undergraduate degree. I worked as a laboratory technician for a year after my undergrad to reflect (more so to take a break!) from the dreaded medical admissions process. It was only really during this time that I truly understood the system; I went from getting rejected to receiving 3/3 offers from the 3 undergraduate medical schools I applied to.
As a first year medic who's still extremely fresh from the daunting process that is getting into medicine, I wish to alleviate some of that stress so that you may set yourself up for success. By doing that, together, we can ensure that you fulfil your dream of becoming a doctor!

Having undergone 5 interviews and 3 entrance exams in the past, I understand how daunting applying to medicine can be! I wish to provide the necessary guidance for any prospective medical students, from school-leavers, to graduates and beyond.
In an hour, I'd first like to focus on what you'd like to gain from my tutoring; from choosing your universities, to interview techniques. From here, we can build on the aspects you wish to improve in order to strengthen your application as a whole!
- We'll discuss often over-looked aspects of the admissions process. From writing an attractive personal statement, strategically choosing your medical schools, to interview prep, I want to ensure that the entire process is clear.
- I want to explore your awareness of admissions tests such as the UCAT and GAMSAT, so that I can share my most high-yield tips.
- Together, we can work through different MMI stations that I've designed, as well as analysing panel-style interviews, so that you know what to expect on interview day!
- I also offer personal statement analysis in which I provide you with the strengths of your personal statement, and - more importantly - what you can do to improve it. My personal statement was the highest scored aspect of each of my applications!
- I have aided family and friends for the last 4 years regarding university admissions.
