About Leon
My name is Leon, I am a second year medical student studying at Brighton and Sussex medical school. I have built up a passion for maths and science over my years in education and love sharing my knowledge with peers and students. My students in the past have commented on how beneficial they have found my explanations and the way I teach. As I have been tutoring for over a year I understand that every student is different and I adjust my teaching in order to maximise the hour and get the most out of my students. I'm open to overrunning the session if I feel it would be beneficial to the students in regards to the content covered in the lesson as I want my students to leave with full confidence.

I believe in an active approach to learning teaching my students through questions, diagrams, and communication. GCSEs are all about learning the different types of questions the exam board asks you and to what detail. In my experience, that's best approached with past and topic papers. I typically teach 1-hour sessions however I'm flexible with this. My lessons are for years 9, 10, 11 GCSE students, and the first lesson will be me assessing what level they work at.
