About Kaitlin
Hello, my name is Kaitlin! I began studying at the University of Edinburgh in 2025 after years of working towards a place at medical school. Edinburgh was my dream university, and I would love to help other students achieve their own goals like I did.
I am excited to tutor for the UCAT because I dedicated countless hours preparing for the exam myself, developing effective strategies for each section, time-management skills, and a strong understanding of the question types. Having been through the process recently, I understand both the academic and personal challenges that come with preparing for medical school applications.
My aim is to provide supportive, personalised tutoring that helps students build confidence, improve their performance, and approach the UCAT with a clear plan for success.

I have an adaptable teaching approach which I will tailor to each individual’s strengths, weaknesses and preferences. I am aware of the strategies needed to build a successful revision schedule, manage time during the exam effectively and to thoroughly understand each question type. As well as studying question technique, I will be able to recommend high quality UCAT resources / provide questions from my own materials. I am open to lessons of any length, however I believe starting with 30-60 minute lessons will be the best use of time.
In the first session, we can discuss your strengths and areas for improvement — then we can create a plan which will help you work towards your goals.
