About Huichan

Hello, my name is Huichan Jung and I am currently studying medicine at the University of St Andrews in the UK.

Biology has always been my favorite subject, and it is a fundamental cornerstone in the field of medicine. It is a subject I am deeply passionate about, as it allows me to dive deep into the plethora of knowledge that relates to the mechanisms of life itself.

I would love to share this passion with you and help you experience the joy of learning this fascinating subject.

About the lesson

Student-focused approach learning where specific weaknesses of the students are targeted - for instance they will ask me to cover which topic they find difficult and we will do so. Rather than relying on repeated memorisation, there will be a focus on understanding the underlying concepts. Lessons will be an hour long and aimed at students aged 6-18. I have taught at a high school level for 2 years.

Sannat

He is a very approachable person and really good at breaking down and explaining complex biological concepts in a way that is clear.

When I was studying Higher Level IB Biology he helped me revise a lot of content and explain it in a memorable way even though I was not a massive fan of things like Macromolecules and Proteins.

Very grateful to him!

My son used to say that biology was the subject he hated the most in the world. But after meeting Huichan, biology became his favorite subject. He conducted the lesson effectively and he is witty.
