About Abdul
My name is Abdul. I’m 18 years old and I’ve JUST finished my A Levels (meaning my knowledge is still fresh). I should hopefully be going to study medicine at university come September, something which I'm very excited to do. Throughout my education I’ve had/seen many teachers and tutors meaning I know what qualities are important in order to effectively teach, and I’ve made sure to implement them into my own skill set. I like to tutor as a hobby/side job as it allows me to pass on the knowledge I’ve gained over the past 2 years as well as help people achieve their dream careers. It also allows me to develop crucial skills such as communication and listening etc, things which are very important for medicine, but it's not about me, it’s about you. I’m looking forward to helping as many people as possible.

These lessons are targeted towards people in sixth form/college (16-18) who are taking A Levels in biology, chemistry and/or psychology as well as those who are applying to medicine. The sessions will be held on Zoom and will typically last 1-2 hours. Lessons will be very interactive as learning will occur through discussion of topics as well as going through many past paper questions. The main idea is that we focus on your weak areas, meaning each lesson, you get to choose the topic we will go through to ensure we are targeting the right stuff. The lessons will be based around your needs rather than simply trying to finish the curriculum. I've had plenty of experience tutoring as I do some teaching within my high school, helping students in subjects they are struggling in. For those applying to medicine, I am also able to help with personal statements and do sessions on them. I can also help and guide students for medicine interviews, developing their skills and confidence so that they can go and smash all their interviews.
