About Srijita
I am a Medical Student with over five years of experience tutoring and mentoring students in GCSE Sciences, A-level Biology, and Medicine applications. Throughout my own academic journey, I achieved top grades, received multiple Medicine offers, and developed effective study techniques and application strategies that I now enjoy sharing with others.
Teaching has always been something I find incredibly rewarding. Whether through private tutoring, mentoring, leading revision sessions as a Science Prefect, managing within a tutoring company, or delivering talks to sixth form students about Medicine applications, I have always loved supporting younger students and helping them reach their goals.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to suit each individual's needs and learning style. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence, develop independent learning skills, and make challenging concepts feel approachable.
Having benefited from the guidance of teachers and mentors throughout my own journey, I am passionate about passing on the knowledge, strategies and advice that helped me succeed. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grow in confidence, achieve results they are proud of, and realise their own potential. My goal is to support and encourage every student as much as I can throughout their academic journey.

Applying to Medicine can feel overwhelming, but having been through the process myself, I understand exactly what admissions tutors are looking for. I received four Medicine offers, including an offer from my first-choice medical school, the very next day after my interview. Throughout the application cycle, I developed effective strategies for writing a strong personal statement and preparing for interviews, and presenting my experiences confidently and authentically.
My sessions are tailored to each student's strengths, experiences and target universities. Rather than providing scripted answers, I help students develop their own reflective responses, improve their communication, and understand what interviewers are assessing. I also offer detailed personal statement feedback, helping applicants highlight their experiences in a compelling and genuine way.
Alongside mock interviews and personalised feedback, I share the practical techniques, preparation methods and insights that contributed to my own success. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable challenging themselves and building confidence.
I was delighted that all of the students I personally prepared for Medicine interviews in the previous application cycle went on to receive Medicine offers, and I am passionate about helping future applicants achieve the same level of confidence and success.
