About Vikram
Experience & Background
I graduated from The King's School and am currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine (BMedSt/MD) at Bond University.
Throughout school, I was heavily involved in both leadership and extracurricular activities, which have helped me develop strong communication, organization, teamwork and mentoring skills.
Leadership & Cadets
House Prefect – took on leadership responsibilities within the school community and helped support and mentor younger students.
Cadet Under Officer (CUO) – progressed through the cadet program from Cadet to Corporal, Senior Corporal and ultimately CUO. This involved leading cadets, organizing activities, managing groups and taking responsibility for younger members.
Participated in trekking and field activities through the cadet program, developing teamwork, resilience and leadership in challenging environments.
Academic & Research Experience
Completed a Junior Science Internship involving exposure to scientific research and laboratory environments.
Completed a Senior Science Internship, gaining further experience in laboratory work, microbiology and scientific research.
Participated in a microbiology internship and Biome Mega program, including laboratory practicals, bioinformatics, antimicrobial research and exposure to biotechnology and innovation.
Participated in a L'Oréal anti-aging research session and had exposure to industry and scientific entrepreneurship.
Currently studying Medicine, developing further knowledge in biomedical science, anatomy, physiology, immunology and clinical practice.
Sport
I have been involved in competitive sport throughout school, including:

I have played sport for approximately five years and received multiple MVP/individual awards across different teams. Sport has helped me develop discipline, teamwork, communication and the ability to perform under pressure.
Community & Volunteering
Volunteered with St Vincent de Paul, contributing to community-focused initiatives.
Participated in activities supporting Rough Edges, gaining experience interacting with and supporting members of the wider community.
Tutoring & Mentoring
I have experience tutoring students from Years 7–12 across Mathematics, Science, English and Business Studies. I have also taken on additional responsibility within tutoring, including working as a specialist Mathematics tutor and progressing into a Head of Mathematics role.
My approach to tutoring combines academic knowledge with the communication and leadership skills developed through my experiences in school, sport, cadets, volunteering and medicine.
I aim to make lessons structured, engaging and personalized to each student's individual needs.

Applying for medicine and have an interview coming up?
I offer personalized medicine interview preparation for students preparing for university medicine interviews, including MMIs and panel interviews.
Having recently gone through the medical admissions process myself, I understand how unfamiliar and stressful the interview stage can be. The goal of each session is to help you become more confident, structured and comfortable answering questions you've never seen before.
Sessions can focus on:
MMI station practice under realistic time pressure
Ethics and medical scenarios
Communication and empathy stations
Motivation for medicine
Personal and behavioral questions
"Why medicine?" and "Why this university?"
Handling difficult or unexpected questions
Structuring answers without sounding rehearsed
Thinking aloud and communicating your reasoning clearly
Feedback on your answers, communication and body language
Full mock interviews with detailed feedback
Rather than giving you a script to memorize, I'll help you develop frameworks and strategies that you can apply to unfamiliar questions.
Each session is tailored to where you are in your preparation — whether you're just starting out and have no idea what to expect, or you're looking for realistic mock interviews and final feedback before the big day.
