About Theresa
My name is Theresa and I am a final year medical student at University College London who is graduating and soon becoming an incoming junior doctor.
When applying to medical school I was extremely nervous and stressed. I understand how difficult this time period is to all those applying to medical school and how this can affect one's chances to gain a place.
I offer a personal statement review service for medical school applicants. I will provide personalised feedback and also include a zoom call to talk about feedback and areas to improve. Successful students of mine have gained places at Oxford and Bath.
My main area of expertise is with Medical School Interviews.
In this marathon, interviews are the last and most critical hurdles to overcome. There is surmounting pressure which can really affect performance. However, this does not have to be the case!
Mock interviews are the key to success. I aim to create an environment to allow slip-ups and recreate challenging questions to highlight areas of weakness. I want every student to feel their most confident in the real thing!
I also am availible to teach GCSE maths.

Aimed at students applying to medical school who want some extra interview practice and receive critical and comprehensive performance feedback to ace their medical school interviews.
My main methodology is focusing on projecting confidence and teaching interview techniques to tackle unexpected/ challenging situations. In my opinion, this is what will really make or break a medical school interview.
I myself received offers for every interview I attended in 2020. I have experience with both MMI, panel interviews as well as interviews held online.
Sessions will be 1hr. It will include around 30 minutes of mock interviews and 30 minutes of feedback, confidence coaching and discussion. You can let me know beforehand which interview types you want included.
My personal statement review service can be one of session of £80 which includes a one off review with feedback within 48 hours and a zoom call of 30 mins to discuss improvements or 2 reviews sessions for 150£ depending on how well students feel their final draft is.

Perfect! I asked Theresa for help with my medical interviews and she helped develop my speech for the medical interviews so it was more fluid and suitable for interviews, building on it through each lesson.
