About Taniya
Hey, I’m Taniya, a current medical student at UCD and a recent Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Western Australia.
I strongly believe that school is not about the amount of knowledge you have, but how you apply that knowledge. Whether you're aiming for better grades, building confidence in your studies, or just need a helping hand, I want to support you every step of the way. As someone who has been in your shoes, my tutoring isn't just about getting the answers right—it's about learning how to approach studying as a whole.
I specialise in English, particularly helping secondary students with short answer questions, creative writing, and essay prompts. I also teach Maths and Science to both primary and secondary students.

I'm a tutor with over two years of experience and my approach focuses on catering to individual student needs while making learning fun and engaging. I strive to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of concepts as well as equip them with study strategies, and skills that will help them succeed. I specialise in creative and essay writing, and my lessons typically last between one to two hours, depending on the student's needs/capacity. I also provide weekly lesson plans in booklet form, ensuring students have ample homework for practice. Currently I'm studying medicine within Dublin and hold a biomedical science degree from Australia. I tutor Year 3-10 students in English, Maths, and Science. I'm flexible with locations, happy to do online or in person tutoring at either the student's home or within a public setting (i.e. a public library).
