About Tiago
I want to teach photography because I know how challenging it can be to learn on your own. I didn’t have someone guiding me at the start, and it cost me a lot of time and resources. My goal is to help my students avoid those same mistakes. Teaching allows me to share my passion for photography and see others discover the same joy I feel behind the camera.
My experiences traveling and meeting people from different walks of life have shaped my ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I love teaching hands-on shooting and post-production because that's where students really start to see their vision come to life.
Peter McKinnon inspires me as a photographer, but as an educator, I think back to my high school grammar teacher. He genuinely cared about his students, and that’s something I try to bring into my own teaching—understanding each student as an individual and helping them succeed on their own path.

As a traveling photographer, my tutoring approach is hands-on and practical. I focus on personalized lessons that cater to each student’s skill level and interests. I teach by demonstrating techniques in real-life scenarios. My goal is to help students understand both the technical and creative aspects of photography.
Lessons typically last 1-2 hours, giving enough time to cover key topics without exhausting the learner. I have experience teaching photographers at all levels, from beginners to intermediate, both teenagers and adults.
Each lesson is equipped with the necessary tools and software, so students get to work directly with the gear they'll use in real situations.
