About Phil
I started shooting weddings 4 decades ago using film cameras. I choose not to call them "analogue" as so many do since the advent of the digital format. In the period between 2004 and 2020 we shot more than 600 weddings. From that experience I am able to help with almost anything and everything you will be asked for and need to overcome to ensure your clients are delighted with your work. We moved from film to DSLR cameras in 2005 when Canon released their first full-frame digital camera, the legendary 5D.

My tutoring is designed by you. Whatever your skill level, your questions and understanding will dictate the lesson. I offer private lessons, online (via Zoom) or in person for those living within the same locality. Lessons typically are for an hour but can be longer if required. During my business operations I had 2 other photographers working for me and an intern from University completing his final year of a 4-year course.
