About Rodger
I'm a Business Administration instructor at NorQuest College in Edmonton with 7 years of post-secondary teaching experience. I hold an MBA and have taught Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook — to hundreds of adult learners in both classroom and online environments.
I work with people at all skill levels, from complete beginners to professionals who want to work faster and smarter. My teaching style is practical and hands-on — we work on real tasks, not textbook exercises.
Whether you want to get more confident at work, prepare for a new job, or finally master Excel, I'll meet you where you are and get you where you need to go.
Available weekends and flexible evenings in Edmonton. Online sessions also available via Teams or Zoom.

How I Teach
Hands-on from minute one. We open the software and we work — on your actual files, your real goals. No slides, no theory overload. Just practical skills you can use the same day.
Every session follows a simple rhythm: I show you, you try it, we apply it to something real. You leave every session having built something useful.
A Typical Session
First 10 min: Review what's working, where you're stuck
Next 30 min: One focused skill — I demonstrate, you practice
Next 15 min: Apply it directly to your work or goals
Last 5 min: Quick recap and one small thing to practice before next time

I'm a working college instructor with an MBA — not a student tutor. I've taught MS Office to hundreds of adult learners. I'm patient, practical, and I work around your schedule (weekends available).
