About Karna K
I am a passionate and experienced Mixing and Mastering Engineer with 20 years in Recording, Mixing and Mastering studios around Australia. My experience includes Recording, Mixing and Mastering music, film scores and online content such as podcasts and voice narrations. My skills include vocal recording techniques, hybrid mixing and mastering, beat production and sound design.
I own and operate Million Masters studio and use a hybrid of digital and analog tools that includes DAW and plugins such as Pro Tools, iZotope, Native Instruments and Lurssen Mastering Console, as well as analog processing by Maselec, Manley, Dangerous Music and Prism Sound. The studio is also equipped with full-range ATC Mastering reference speakers for the highest fidelity studio monitoring.
My credits include Troy Kemp (Nominated 3 CMC Awards) Skarlett (NT Song Of The Year), Cornstalk (AIMAS Album Of The Year), Wiley (Eskiboy Records, U.K.), The Buena Vista Social Club, Vellamatt Films (Winner, Melbourne Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival 2018), Julie Owens (Parramatta MP) and many more. I also have experience in radio production and broadcasting at Radio Fremantle (W.A., 2005) and I am the creator and administrator of the Mastering Engineers Worldwide Facebook Forum (active since 2014).
Throughout my career I have worked at several notable studios including Crank Recording, Studios 301, Viking Lounge Mastering, Uncanny Valley, Albert's, The Vault, and others.

Online Tutorial Sessions typically run for 1 hour per session, and students can choose how many sessions per week they would like.
We will assess your current level of proficiency in audio engineering and your goals as an audio engineer, then tailor the tutorial sessions to your specific needs that will allow you to achieve your desired proficiency level and goals as an audio engineer.
I have over 20 years experience in professional and private studios and have trained many assistant engineers over the years who have gone on to have their own audio production careers. These tutorials are suitable for students of any age and experience level that has a DAW and a passion for creating high-quality audio.
