About Ishani
I'm a current MD1 at Flinders University, who has also interviewed at Notre Dame. After having gone through intense MMI preparation blocks myself, I have a strong understanding of what it takes to perform well, whilst managing life outside of study as well.
Before studying Medicine, I completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Science (Psychology) as well as a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies. I've achieved 4th quartile on Casper more than once and got into medicine with an overall GAMSAT score of 68.
MMIs are your time to shine, and I would love to help you uncover what your strengths are and how to maximize them in your interview to perform as best as you can. It takes practice and patience, but given my first-hand experience with the challenges of the application process and the resilience it requires, I can offer you the support you need to get through.

Applying to Medicine can be extremely overwhelming, especially when it comes to MMIs and Casper. I understand how intimidating MMI preparation can feel, and what separates an average answer from an excellent one.
I offer personalised MMI and Casper tutoring and strongly believe in playing to your strengths in terms of your thinking and conversational style, improving weaknesses, and practising in alignment with the target university interview style.
Together we can work on:
- Structuring high-scoring answers under time pressure
- Ethical scenarios and medical professionalism questions
- Communication and empathy stations
- Motivation for medicine and personal insight questions
- Role-play and actor stations
- Managing nerves and improving confidence
- Developing a natural and authentic interview style rather than memorised responses
My approach focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind strong answers so they can adapt to any scenario they encounter on interview day.
As a current medical student who has taken a long road to getting into med, I can provide recent, relevant insights into the admissions process and share strategies that worked for me throughout my own preparation.
