About Robert
I hold a Master's degree in Piano Performance & Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Music degree.
I have been teaching piano & music theory in the Champlain Heights area in Vancouver for 10 years and have successfully prepared students for various recitals/performances and exams of different levels.
As an enthusiastic pedagogue, I have taught children and adults with various musical backgrounds, ranging from 5 to 80 years old.

In my lessons, I always try to keep a balance between techniques and musicality (e.g., musical expressions). As a teacher and musician, I believe these two areas overlap with each other in many ways and must be worked on simultaneously regardless of skill level and age.
I strive to help my students achieve the best that they can, and I believe it is equally important to create an environment where they can enjoy the learning process and the music itself.
I am experienced in helping students prepare RCM Piano and Music Theory Examinations (Beginners to ARCT Performer's) if they are interested.
Students who want to learn for fun are welcome too!
