About Veronica Pabón
I am a licensed professional singer and passionate about teaching, so for more than 20 years, I have been working as a singing teacher and vocal coach, accompanying my students to discover the magic of their voices and helping them to become aware of their bodies, so that they can sing any musical genre effortlessly and using proper vocal technique.
I have had the opportunity to teach at various academies and universities in Colombia and Argentina, and I have worked both with beginning students (who are just beginning their training in singing), as well as with experienced singers who want to expand their possibilities vocal or expressive, with very positive results.
I work with adults and adolescents mainly, but I have students from 10 to 75 years old today, and I love being able to share my knowledge with all of them and be part of the transformation processes.
I am trained in both lyrical singing and popular singing, but as a singer I have worked mainly within the genres of pop, rock, boleros, jazz, bossanova, Celtic music and Broadway musicals.

I am a professional singer specialized in conscious bodywork and in modern singing styles (such as pop, rock, tango, salsa, jazz, etc.) and I have been working as a teacher and workshop facilitator for more than 15 years, helping my students to fulfill their dreams, since each one has their aspirations and potentialities.
I like to get to know them and draw up a work plan together to achieve what they want to achieve.
I work with students of all ages from 7 years old to 99, and with all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have students who are working on their technique and style to record an album, and others who are looking to improve their stage presence. Some of them just take singing lessons because they enjoy connecting with their voices and discovering the pleasure of singing (with all the possibilities that the voice offers us) and for others, singing is a sort of therapy. Some find it difficult to tune up their voices, or perhaps they don't like their voice color, or find it difficult to reach high notes or feel they are damaging their voices and strain them after singing for a while; Some of my students work professionally with their voices, as teachers, actors or worskshop lecturers, and want to learn to how to make it work better.
That is why, in my classes we always begin with the thing that each one brings to the class and the place where they are as singers (or voice users) and we work together to go to the place where they want to go, according to their possibilities and level of commitment. I try to be a companion through the whole process, helping them fall in love with their own voices and tracing paths so that they enjoy learning.
In my classes, the common component is play and fun, regardless of the musical genre and age.
In most of my classes, we work on both technical-musical components and repertoire, where my students propose the songs they want to tackle, and I help them trace the paths so that they can solve the difficulties and acquire expressive and stylistic tools. Some of the aspects we emphasize are body awareness, tuning, phrasing, rhythm, musicality, relaxation, breathing, support, setting, vocalization, warm-up, diction, color, vocal extension, vocal registers, effects, style, riffs, interpretation, expression, musical analysis and musical genres.
And since, in addition to being a singer, I am a body therapist and a dance therapist, I also work with the body awareness and emotions
