About Ethan
I'm currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University (commencing 2026), having successfully completed the Monash MMI as part of my own application. I know the format, the station types, and the values Monash looks for — not from a prep guide, but from having sat in those rooms recently myself.
My academic background gives me a strong foundation for teaching the kind of thinking the MMI assesses: ATAR of 99.70 (Top 0.3% of Victoria), alongside competition success in mathematics and science. More importantly, I understand how to communicate complex reasoning clearly and calmly under pressure — and I'll teach you to do the same.

MMI preparation is about building genuine skill across every station type, not rehearsing scripted answers. My coaching is personalised to your current strengths and the specific areas where your reasoning or communication needs sharpening.
We work through every station type you're likely to face at Monash. For ethical dilemma stations, I teach structured reasoning frameworks that let you explore multiple perspectives and weigh competing values without being indecisive or one-sided — exactly what panels are looking for. Role play stations are practised live, with direct feedback on your tone, how you handle silences, and how to manage unexpected turns in the scenario. Communication task stations are drilled for clarity and precision under time pressure. Personal insight stations are refined so your answers feel authentic and specific rather than rehearsed — Monash interviewers can tell the difference. I also help you build a solid bank of examples from Australian health policy and medical ethics so you're never caught without something substantive to say on a current issue.
After every mock MMI session you receive detailed written feedback — what landed well, what to change, and exactly why. Sessions are timed realistically (8–10 minutes per station) so the format becomes second nature before you walk in.
Sessions run 2 hours (standard) or 3 hours (intensive). Available evenings and weekends. Between-session questions are always welcome. Can be combined with UCAT preparation if you need both.

Ethan is clear with strategies how to do well in maths and most importantly he is a dedicated teacher who will teach his students the same way to do well in high school and final exam.
