About Milan
I have been teaching digital art media at the college level for the past 5 years. Having a background navigating diverse industries as a freelance multimedia artist has very much informed my approach as an educator in that I am sensitive to people learning at different paces and with a range of methods. My objective is to create lessons that are underscored by the dynamic nature of visual arts. Above everything else, I pride myself in being patient and approachable!
I have an MFA in Computer Art from NYC's School of Visual Arts with a concentration in motion graphics. I have 15 years experience working in costume design, illustration, pro-production and motion design for clients including: Lady Gaga, Norah Jones, Maysles Documentary Center, The Bouncing Souls, Anthropologie and Nordstrom.

Experienced professional designer and educator specializing in Adobe Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Specializations include: video editing, motion graphics, 2d animation, vector illustration, working from analogue to digital artwork, repeat pattern design, photo editing, and foundational basics for all ages and skill levels. From designing assets for graphic design and fashion, and designing your own characters, to animating them; we can work together to address specific goals, as well as flesh out full production pipelines that will give you comprehensive skills about working with each program singularly, and in tandem!
