About Melissa
I've recently finished my Masters in Neuroscience, a topic I've thoroughly enjoyed learning about over the last 5 years and want to continue learning, teaching and discussing all things science! As someone who has been in education for their entire life I know how daunting learning the sciences can be, but I want to show how interesting it truly is and demystify its intimidating rep. I sat exams all through my undergrad and post grad where I got grades like 85%, so my experience with revision is thorough and effective.

My lessons have a focus on approaching the exam style questions in a methodical manner to teach a broad approach to apply to all questions under timed settings. Lessons can range for 1-2 hours, focusing on areas the student are most unsure about, first ensuring the student understand the concepts of the topic and can confidently approach it in the exam. I have a Masters in clinical neuroscience from King's College London, and a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Manchester, where I sat in person exams all through university so have years of experience perfecting my revision techniques and approaching difficult topics.
