MSc Computer Science student offering maths (up to A-level) and computer science (GCSE) lessons.

Shanjida taught Maths and Science to children from Key Stage 3 to 5 in a supplementary education centre. The group sizes were typically between 4 - 6 in number. Her tasks included the following:-

• Assess new students in line with the requirements of the National Curriculum.
• Devise a study plan based on the outcome of the initial assessment.
• Set the appropriate level of work based on their programme of study.
• Explain difficult mathematical concepts in a simple and user friendly way.
• Identify and target areas of weakness through rigorous testing and formal assessments.
• Introduce and develop exam techniques and revision strategies.
• Set homework based on the class topic to reinforce the subject matter at home.
• Keep a detailed session by session record of the students’ progress, session productivity and homework submission.

She displayed a high level of professional and excellent timekeeping skills in addition to being very reliable.

Excellent tutor who is always professional. Great with kids of all ages and very articulate in explaining the quite often difficult tasks to the students. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn modules in a speedy time with great understanding.

Shanjida is someone who cares a lot about people and would never want to see others maje mistakes that could easily prevented. She's very good with kids, and has a great reputation at the tuition company she last worked with. Definitely someone I would recommend for providing education and guidance to myself and others!
