About Shreekrishna
As an aspiring aquaculture professional, I have a strong background in fisheries and aquaculture. I hold a postgraduate degree from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in Kerala, one of the best institutes for fisheries in India. My specialization includes Aquaculture, Seafood Processing Technology, Marine Biology, Economics, and Entrepreneurship.
I had the privilege of working as a research associate at IIT Kharagpur, one of India's top institutes, where I undertook the design and development of an integrated submerged biofilter within a deep-water aquaponics system, ensuring its feasibility for efficient operation. This practical insight, coupled with my industry experience, ensures that I can impart not just theoretical knowledge but also real-world insights to my students.
With extensive professional experience as a QA Technologist in a private organization, I have been actively involved in ensuring the quality of seafood products for export outside of India, meeting international food processing industry standards. This role has allowed me to refine my skills in maintaining the highest levels of quality and regulatory compliance within the seafood processing industry, adhering to global standards. I bring a hands-on approach to problem-solving and possess a profound understanding of the delicate balance necessary for successful aquaculture practices.
My purpose being in this platform is to provide strong and depth knowledge on fisheries and aquaculture field whatever I acquire though my academic journey and professional experiences.
