About Ivy
With an MSc in Mathematics and 7 years of teaching experience, I have guided students across multiple levels, from high school to university courses. My teaching philosophy emphasises clarity, engagement, and interactive learning. I use visualisations, real-world examples, and practical exercises to help students internalise concepts and develop a deeper understanding. Each lesson is designed to be dynamic and participatory, encouraging students to ask questions and explore multiple approaches. By the end of each session, students can approach problems methodically, understand formulae deeply, and apply mathematical reasoning confidently, preparing them for exams and practical applications. I emphasise conceptual connections across topics, helping students see patterns and relationships between different branches of mathematics, which enhances memory and problem-solving ability.
