About Sam
I graduated from the University of Greenwich in 2019 where I completed my masters and undergraduate degrees (both achieving first class and the highest marked graduate). I was fortunate to receive RIBA President’s Medals ‘Commendation’ awards for both my graduating projects, in addition to several other awards. I have over 3 years experience working at a top 20 AJ100 firm in London, with experience working on a wide range of projects at varying stages and scales. Being currently employed is a valuable asset as a tutor as it helps you to keep your students informed on the latest areas of the very fast paced profession. I feel as a young professional I am able to advise students on how they can approach the beginning of their career, an area many students are confused about. I am currently undertaking my part 3 course to gain full certification. I regularly run a series of workshops at the University of Greenwich for the last 3 years, teaching masters students visualisation skills. I have also taught several other seminars at undergraduate level. I have also ran undergraduate workshops at the Bartlett, UCL. I have had several private students both on Superprof and other websites and have found effective methods of teaching online.

Hi, my name is Samiur. I am an architecture graduate working in London at an AJ100 firm. I am currently undertaking my part 3. I am a regular visiting tutor at the University of Greenwich for both masters and undergraduate. I have previously also been a visiting tutor for The Bartlett, UCL. Having thoroughly enjoyed my architectural education I am always keen to stay involved and help the next generation of architects. I was fortunate to have received RIBA President’s Medals Awards for both my undergraduate and postgraduate projects. I find that with my experience in practice and speculative student projects I am in a privileged position to aid others in developing strong and ambitious projects. I have previously taught several students on a 1 to 1 basis. I am pleased to say many of my former students have elevated their grades, with some achieving first class honours. I find that personal tutoring works best when supplementary to university tutorials. Often students are given vague feedback and instructions in their seminars and require a bit more direct support available through our tutorials. I am very proficient with several software such as SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Enscape, V-Ray, several CAD software, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and many more. Having been a relatively recent graduate and working in practice I am able to offer specific help with image making and software techniques that sometimes isn’t available at university. I am also able to help with technical reports, environmental studies and theory assignments.

Perfect! Sam is excellent in every aspect of Architecture. He’s very helpful and understanding when it comes to helping students to overcome their difficulties with assessments. Samiur is an excellent and dedicated tutor who we got to know from another tutoring site. I recommend him with no hesitation. Our son was struggling in his 2nd year (2019) architecture course.
