About Thomas
I'm very proud to be a mostly self-taught photographer / photo editor as well as web designer. I've been a photographer for 5 years and been working with Wordpress and Squarespace for about 10 years.
I have a degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, but have always maintained and fostered my creative side with photography, web design and music. I run a freelance business under my own "brand," Thomas Bock Creative where I pursue small to mid size photography and web design / consulting projects.

It's sometimes a blessing and curse to have a technical background like engineering while at the same time a drive to be creative. The methodology I bring is one of grasping the technical fundamentals of things, the how and why, so that it can be leveraged in creative works as organization, productivity, calculated risk and artistic freedom.
As an engineer, nothing get's built without a solid foundation. I try to bring that same logic to creative endeavors.
