About Sara
I'm an Argentinian university student in one of West Africa's most prestigious Business Schools in Dakar, Senegal. However, business was never really my passion, languages are. Since I won't be pursuing languages academically as a career, I've decided to help you in your journey to fluency as much as I can instead. I've been living here in Senegal with my family for almost five years now since I am what they call a Third Culture Kid, meaning I've grown up in various different countries and cultures. That's where my multilingual skills derived from. My high school education was provided by Dakar Academy, an American school in Dakar, which means I understand your possible struggles with AP classes and SATs if you're a high school student. Spanish is my first language since I'm Latina but English is a close second. Here in Dakar of course, we speak French. I'd love to exchange more stories when we practice spoken Spanish/English! I'm sure we'll make a great team together!

My teaching approach is personalised to each student, their needs and best study methods as well as their existing level of knowledge. Each session lasts from 45 minutes to an hour and the materials are typically a mix of audiovisual, text and worksheet materials with no additional cost. Oral practice is highly encouraged throughout the whole lesson since practice makes perfect! I have experience tutoring children from pre-school to high school level (3-18yrs), and can be flexible in hours and number of sessions per week. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish as well as other languages and I'm well acquainted with the American education system and AP classes. My multicultural background renders this experience highly enriching for you or your child. I hope my skills may be of service, I look forward to working with you!
