Whilst my lessons are completely bespoke to each student (we will establish your needs in the first session), I generally divide my lessons into grammar and vocabulary. We will look a specific theme/area, using various fun and engaging media - there's nothing worse than spending a lesson staring at a textbook. Essentially, my lessons aren't boring! We will study music, videos, culture, current affairs etc. We can work to a GCSE, A level, or equivalent curriculum. My aim is to provide you a solid theoretical understanding of French, whilst delivering it in a fun, rewarding way.

Lucy has been an excellent tutor, being supportive, understanding and encouraging. She helped me gain confidence to develop a deeper understanding of the language using a range of teaching methods that suited how I learn. I highly recommend her to help learn French at any level.
Lucy was recommended by a friend and has been extremely dependable and patient, always providing excellent encouragement and support. I would recommend her as a tutor without hesitation.
I thoroughly recommend Lucy as a French tutor. Not only is she fluent in the language (one among several!) but she's an excellent teacher. Kind, patient and knowledgeable, Lucy is great for beginners or those with more experience. She's an excellent communicator and just has this 'way' of making learning fun and easy. Great for adults and kids alike! Highly recommended.
Such a lovely patient tutor! Best French teacher I’ve had
