About Emma
I am an experienced musician with an extensive performing experience in competitions, galas, and concerts, and I have achieved my RCM ARCT in Music Theory and Composition. I have also completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) course in Higher Level Music, which includes knowledge of various cultural compositional methods and international music theory skills.
My experience includes tutoring students of many ages, most often 6-16 y/o, for various RCM exams. I have been composing and producing music for 5 years, and every new project is certainly an opportunity to learn and grow.
I personally am still in the pursuit of my own higher education, but I love to share my passion for musical composition, especially through a deeper understanding of what sound can become!

Perfect! Emma is very knowledgeable about music theory. Her lessons are informative and she is patient to explain concepts that you need more time with. Emma provides exercises and tests for different concepts that are taught in classes to make sure you have a good grasp of the material. She is also a pleasant person to work with.
