About Adam
I hold an honours degree in composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I begin studying my Master’s in Film Scoring at New York University in August this year. I have composed scores to numerous short films and theatre productions and written many concert pieces.

I can teach musical theory through the ABRSM’s syllabus and/or prepare for theory exams.
I can also tutor and mentor students in;
• Composition - Through 1-to-1 lessons, we will work with your compositions. We will analyse your work (orchestration harmony, melody, structure, texture, timbre) and point you to other composers’ works for possible sources of inspiration and influence. We will work to develop your compositional voice and your fluency in composition.
• Arrangement - I can mentor you in arrangement skills. We can work on classical or pop arrangements.
• Theory - We can work on theory exam prep, through past papers. I can also create mock exams in the style of ABRSM, Trinity, etc so as to best prepare students for the real exam.
