1. Introduction to Choir Singing
Understanding what a choir is (parts: soprano, alto, tenor, bass)
Choir etiquette: posture, punctuality, listening to others
2. Breathing Techniques
Diaphragmatic breathing
Breath control exercises
Avoiding shallow chest breathing
3. Posture for Singing
Standing and sitting positions
Relaxation vs. tension in the body
Proper alignment for clear sound
4. Warm-Up Exercises
Humming, lip trills, tongue rolls
Vocal sirens (sliding from low to high)
Simple scales for vocal flexibility
5. Pitch Matching & Ear Training
Learning to sing on key
Call-and-response exercises
Using a piano or app to practice matching notes
