About Billy
Billy began playing piano at the age of 5 and began singing at the age of 15, after which he continued his classical vocal studies at Southern Methodist University.
Billy previously was employed as an Elementary Music Instructor in the Dallas Independent School District. His accolades as an educator include Teacher of the Year for the 2009--2010 school year as well as Director of the All City Elementary Honor Choir in Dallas. He currently works with the San Francisco Opera Guild providing music education services in local schools in creating operettas based on either curriculum or challenges faced every day in the students' communities.

How is Billy unique as a Music Instructor?
1. Billy has fifteen years of experience teaching private voice and piano.
2. Billy has a degree in Music Therapy and has significant experience working with students who have special needs.
3. Billy has worked with students as young as 4 years and as old as 75 years. He can teach students of any age.
4. Billy has significant professional training in both opera and musical theater, as well as a strong understanding of popular music. Billy can focus on the musical taste of the student during any voice or piano lesson.
5. Billy has Classical training on piano but also can teach students to use lead sheets to play popular music.
Billy truly has the experience to teach a diverse range of students with a variety of musical needs!
