About Gargi
I am a North Indian Classical vocalist and certified music therapist with more than 12 years of experience as an educator, performer, and researcher. I hold a Master’s degree in North Indian Classical Music and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Therapy. My teaching blends the discipline of rāga sādhana with the compassion of therapeutic music practice. Each session is designed to help students learn music deeply while also experiencing its transformative impact on the mind and emotions. I teach a wide range of styles — Rāga, Bandish, Taal, Thumri, Bhajan, Dadra, Nazrulgeeti, Bengali song, Rabindra Sangeet, and voice training — integrating techniques from both classical music and music therapy My approach is warm, reflective, and personalized. Students not only learn accurate swara, taal, and expression — they also discover how music can nurture balance, peace, and resilience in daily life.

I’m Gargi Saha Datta, a vocalist, educator, and certified music therapist with over 12 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master’s degree in North Indian Classical Music and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music Therapy.
My classes integrate Rāga, Bandish, Taal, Thumri, Bhajan, Dadra, Nazrulgeeti, Bengali song and Rabindra Sangeet, along with voice training and the therapeutic applications of music for:
