About Patrick
A classical trained musician/graduate with many years of experience teaching both children and adults the piano, keyboard and brass instruments of all ages and abilities. I've also undertaken brass instrumental teaching in a Primary Juniors School in Chandlers Ford.
I am qualified to Degree level in Music, hold a teaching certificate and I’m also diploma standard on both the trumpet and piano. Home visits and online tuition are both available so please get in touch right now. Please note I teach only in my local area around Hedge End so willing to accept students from the following areas: Hedge End; Botley; Curdridge; West End, Hamble; Park Gate; Eastleigh; Swanwick; Locksheath; Bursledon; Netley; Woolston; Sholing; Thornhill and Bitterne. I will not accept students further than these areas so please don't contact me if you live further away. I’m looking forward to getting you started on your musical journey with me!

I teach all aspects of learning a musical instrument from understanding the musical theory to developing technique. I can adapt my lessons according to particular tastes in music and whether you want to work towards exams or play as a hobby I can cater for this also. Music theory lessons will be taught separately to practical lessons using Grades 1-8 ABRSM theory workbooks. I’ve entered many students for exams with both the ABRSM and Trinity exam boards and have achieved both merit and distinction.
