About Angelica
I began playing bassoon in middle school. A year after I started I began taking private lessons and continue in order to maintain and grow my skills. I have learned a lot from my mentors and would love to share that with others. At Rollins College I have had the privilege of playing in a wind ensemble and an orchestra with other dedicated musicians and learned from members with plenty of experience. After contemplating quitting many times, I’m proud and grateful that I didn’t. I hope to help young musicians see their potential and grow.

Playing bassoon for years as a student, I’ve learned some tips to make the instrument feel easier and more comfortable. Having made years of mistakes, I can focus on even small things that might make things more difficult. I enjoy a holistic approach, assessing everything that might impact playing—even things you might not think of. Catching these things early on will help players feel more confident and play more easily as they begin their bassoon journeys!
