About Calhoun
I am a student at San Diego State Univeristy studying Music Recording Technology and Audio Design. I have been playing the drums since age 8, and piano for 2 years now. I have transitioned my passion for music into the production process. Fluent in editing audio, use of compressions and EQ, and all the post-editing done with audio deign in the modern music industry. Not only do I know the science behind sound but also how it is applied to our current day and age. I have worked in countless recording sessions and production events that require the knowledge of how audio works as well as the technology.

I approach each topic in a building block manner. I start by going over the basics of sound and how sounds waves works. Everything after will be based off these core building blocks. From here we can expand from just sound into music and how it is recorded in a professional environment.
