About Henry
I recently completed my undergraduate biochemistry studies where I was tutored as a music scholar at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under Simon de Souza. Before this, I attained my ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) for French horn performance under the mentorship of Ed Lockwood. Combining this experience with the numerous horn sections I have led through my youth and university careers and previous experience teaching all ages and skills of karate, means I am keen to pass on all that I've learned to help you or your child elevate your/their playing and work towards that next grade.

Lessons with me will focus on fundamentals and musicality.
This means building a solid warm-up routine, focusing on breath, tone and projection, and nailing musical style. All of this is essential when becoming a confident and well-rounded solo or ensemble player.
