About Brianis
I am a Music Education major at Messiah University with a concentration in cello and a strong academic foundation in music theory. I hope to use my knowledge and passion for music to help others develop their understanding and appreciation of the subject. Along with cello, I am also a bassist, vocalist, amateur pianist, and composer, giving me a diverse perspective on musicianship and the many ways music can be learned and expressed. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and grow as musicians.

Each lesson is carefully structured to meet the individual needs, experience level, and goals of the student. I work primarily with middle school and high school students, as well as beginner and intermediate musicians seeking to strengthen their understanding of music theory. Lessons cover essential topics including notation, rhythm, scales, key signatures, intervals, chord construction, harmony, ear training, and basic music analysis. My teaching approach emphasizes both conceptual understanding and practical application, ensuring that students can confidently apply music theory to performance, coursework, auditions, or personal musical development. I strive to create a focused, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and develop lasting musicianship skills.
