About Ola
I am an open-minded and versatile musician, with more than 10-years’ experience as a string player. I play both the violin and viola. Additionally, I have played for weddings and events as well as in orchestras and ensembles.
I am a friendly and dedicated teacher with a passion for making and sharing music.

My teaching method is simple in that I tailor my lessons to each student in order to ensure that every session is fun as well as productive. I also have my own resources which I use to help my students keep track of their progress and set their own aims and goals. If you’re looking to earn certificates and grades I can also guide you through this using the ABRSM syllabus (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).
I first began teaching during my time as a student in South London where I was an instrumental teaching assistant for Croydon Music and Arts. In this time I taught violin classes of up to 30 children aged 7-14. Working with young people and making the arts more accessible and diverse has always been important to me. I now teach music in Bury, Greater Manchester.
